Founder, Khadijeh, began operations at the Subiaco market more than 20 years ago. She went on to open several retail stores in Perth before branching out with an online store to serve the entire nation. Khadijeh has followed her dreams to become the premiere rug supplier in Australia offering exclusive rugs sourced from around the world to the local market. Khadijeh has always wanted to be the best distributor in the country and is now set to expand operations to offer her expertise to grow Austex into a wholesale and drop shipping supplier of choice
Arash, Director
Arash is the IT whizz behind Austex’s online platform, which has seen Austex catapulted into an Australian success story of note. As Khadijeh’s son, Arash grew up surrounded by rugs and business, a fertile playing-ground, which saw him grow into the leading force behind Austex’s national expansion as a supplier to wholesalers, retailers and drop shippers. Arash travels, Internationally, attending all the best trade shows abroad to fuel the exclusive range of world-class rugs available on Austex’s catalogue.
Mariam, Marketing
With a degree in Economics and Finance, Mariam is Austex’s marketing expert. She’s responsible for administration and communication, which keeps new and existing clients in the spin. She’s the backbone of the company, ensuring that our exclusive collection of rugs remains fashion-fresh at affordable prices.
Aziz, Sales Manager
Aziz is a people person, which is a prerequisite for a sales manager, but so often not in evidence in this profession. Aziz is also great when it comes to logistics, he organises product deliveries and container shipments with a deft hand and an eagle-eye. An all-round asset to Austex and Austex’s clients. Aziz, eases the client’s interaction with Austex ensuring the softest ride.
Nima, Sales Manager
With a discerning eye for colour and style, Nima, is the perfect link between client and product. He has an uncanny ability to tune in to the customer’s needs and give them exactly what they’re after. His easy going nature is a hit with staff and clients alike, so much so that he’s always in demand. However, he’s good nature isn’t a substitute for excellent business acumen, which he has to the benefit of both clients and Austex.
